"""v155 -- Quasi-free in => quasi-free out: the boundary (seam) state of
a reflection-positive GAUSSIAN bulk is automatically quasi-free, so the
analytic core of the G_net premise (v110's part (b), v113's 'single
2-point kernel') is NOT an independent assumption -- it is implied by
the same Gaussian-bulk premise that the area law (v59) and the EH
mechanism (v150/v151) already use. The whole 'seam-side identification'
therefore reduces to ONE physical premise -- the seam bulk is a
reflection-positive free field -- shared across G_net, the area law and
R3. [I] exact linear algebra (compression of a contraction); the one
shared premise stays [P]/[A]. (External-review follow-up 2026-06-13.)
The Simple-Current Extension Theorem (v154) leaves one premise: the RP
seam-Calderon net IS the carrier net A = (D_5)_1 (x) (A_3)_1. By v113
this holds once the seam state is quasi-free (one 2-point kernel
determines the net); v110 split the premise into (a) the Calderon
involution is sheet-odd [structural: the double-cover deck] and (b) the
kernel is quasi-free [the analytic core]. This module discharges (b)
into the Gaussian-bulk premise:
[I] 1. RESTRICTION OF A QUASI-FREE STATE IS QUASI-FREE. A fermionic
Gaussian state has real antisymmetric covariance Gamma with
i*Gamma a contraction (eigenvalues in [-1,1]; for a pure state
Gamma^2 = -I). The boundary marginal (partial trace over the
bulk modes) is the compression P Gamma P = the principal
submatrix Gamma_d, and the compression of a contraction is a
contraction -- so Gamma_d is again a valid covariance.
Verified on pure and mixed finite Majorana states over several
boundary subsets: i*Gamma_d antisymmetric with spectrum in
[-1,1]. The boundary/seam state is therefore QUASI-FREE,
induced by the one 2-point kernel Gamma_d.
[I] 2. WICK SURVIVES RESTRICTION (one kernel determines the boundary).
Every boundary correlator is the Pfaffian of the compressed
covariance Gamma_d -- it uses ONLY the boundary 2-point kernel
(checked: a 4-point boundary function equals Pf of the 4x4
submatrix, exact). So the v113 'one kernel is the whole net'
property is INHERITED by the boundary, given a Gaussian bulk.
[I] 3. PREMISE UNIFICATION. Part (b) of the G_net premise ('the seam
2-point kernel is quasi-free') is thus a CONSEQUENCE of 'the
seam bulk is a reflection-positive Gaussian (free) field' -- the
SAME premise already load-bearing in v59 (the RP Gaussian
kernel that yields the area law) and v150/v151 (the gapped
Gaussian determinant whose replica variation is the EH form).
Part (a) ('the Calderon involution is sheet-odd') is the
double-cover deck = the |Z_2| that halves c_3 = 1/(2*4pi),
structural (v110).
[P] 4. THE SINGLE REMAINING PHYSICAL PREMISE (recorded): the seam
bulk is a reflection-positive FREE field. It is not reducible
by a finite computation -- it is the one place where TFPT meets
functional analysis. But the count of INDEPENDENT physical
premises is now ONE, shared by the net identification (G_net),
the area law (v59) and the EH mechanism (R3, v150/v151) -- not
three. Given it, the chain Gaussian bulk => quasi-free
boundary (1.) => one kernel = whole net (v113) => carrier net
A => A |x <(1,1)> = (E_8)_1 (v154) is exact.
