TFPT against the data

TFPT has frozen numerical readouts and a record of empirical searches. Here each comparison states the data release, the formula being tested and the conclusion that the evidence supports.

Primary sources checked 2 November 2026. The selected comparisons below are dated observations, not a new global fit. The scientific inventory was captured 2 November 2026 at revision 4d8fcdb3587f8e4cc0898e5c.

What was frozen on 9 June 2026

The register contains 16 main values, 2 assigned textures and 2 conditional bands. Two additional variants are explicitly excluded from the prediction count. A freeze preserves the formulas and criteria; it does not turn already available measurements into prospective tests.

Four dated comparisons

Distances below divide the frozen value minus the measured central value by the stated measurement uncertainty. They use no added theory error and are not a combined probability for TFPT.

Inverse fine structure constant

CODATA 2022 adjustment

NIST: 2022 CODATA constants
Frozen TFPT value
137.0359992168407125035379
Selected measurement
137.035999177 ± 0.000000021

1.90 measurement standard uncertainties above the recommended value.

The difference uses the CODATA standard uncertainty alone. It is a numerical comparison, not a combined theory significance or a derivation of the physical coupling.

Formula, physical premise and failure criterion
Formula
1/root of F_U1(alpha) = alpha^3 - 2 c3^3 alpha^2 - (4/5) c3^6 * 41 * log(1/phi_seam(alpha)) = 0
Physical premise
Ward-origin reading of F_U1 is [P]; the root itself is unconditional given the equation
Committed criterion
persistent deviation beyond combined theory+measurement error
Timing and comparison scope
The CODATA adjustment predates the registry freeze.

Solar neutrino mixing, sin² θ₁₂

JUNO 207.2 live days; collaboration preprint, 29 September 2026

JUNO Collaboration: 207.2 day oscillation analysis
Frozen TFPT value
0.3067473572449105696786871
Selected measurement
0.3036 ± 0.0064

0.49 measurement standard uncertainties above the JUNO central value.

This comparison uses the normal mass ordering result. The precision does not distinguish the conditional TFPT value from the measured interval.

Formula, physical premise and failure criterion
Formula
1/3 - phi0/2
Physical premise
seam-misalignment lemma (epsilon = (3/4) phi0)
Committed criterion
JUNO value away from 0.306747 beyond 3 sigma kills the seam-misalignment reading
Timing and comparison scope
The cited collaboration preprint appeared on 29 September 2026. The earlier 59.1 day result, 0.3092 ± 0.0087, was already public on 18 November 2025, before the registry freeze. A prospective test must be assessed against the first public disclosure of the tested value, not its journal date alone.

Reactor neutrino mixing, sin² θ₁₃

NuFIT 6.1, November 2025 data; normal ordering, IC23 without SK atmospheric data

NuFIT 6.1 parameter table
Frozen TFPT value
0.02310843515888110429328466
Selected measurement
0.02249 ± 0.00057

1.08 measurement standard uncertainties above this fit.

The selected fit is stated explicitly because the result depends on ordering and the data combination. The older approximate two sigma label is not used for this comparison.

Formula, physical premise and failure criterion
Formula
phi0 * exp(-5/6)
Physical premise
The formula is a core numerical readout in the frozen registry. Physical source selection remains a separate research question.
Committed criterion
persistent deviation beyond 3 sigma after global fit
Timing and comparison scope
The global fit predates the registry freeze and shares neutrino data with other comparison rows.

Cosmic birefringence, β

ACT DR6 analysis, submitted 17 September 2025; revised 14 April 2026

Diego Palazuelos and Komatsu: ACT DR6
Frozen TFPT value
0.2424350309009295284924315°
Selected measurement
0.215° ± 0.074°

0.37 measurement standard uncertainties above this analysis.

The authors retain unresolved instrumental systematics. The published analysis does not establish a cosmological detection or identify a TFPT mechanism.

Formula, physical premise and failure criterion
Formula
(phi0 / (4*pi)) * (180/pi)
Physical premise
CMB EB/TB rotation = the same boundary phase as the flavor seed [P]
Committed criterion
systematics-controlled exclusion of 0.2424 deg at > 3 sigma (incl. precise zero or wrong sign)
Timing and comparison scope
This constant rotation comparison is distinct from later searches for anisotropic or time dependent birefringence.

Assignments retain their own status

  • neutrino Dirac CP phase (degrees)

240 (phase lattice 4*pi/3). This is an assigned texture value.

  • atmospheric angle sin^2(theta_23)

0.5 (mu-tau symmetric texture; octant NOT predicted). This is an assigned texture value.

Inflation bands need a reheating input

  • tensor-to-scalar ratio r

    0.0033333333333333333333 to 0.0048. 12 / N_star^2, N_star in [50, 60] (external reheating input, NOT a compiler output).

  • spectral tilt n_s

    0.96 to 0.96666666666666666667. 1 - 2/N_star, N_star in [50, 60] (external reheating input, NOT a compiler output).

These bands share N* and are correlated. They are not two independent parameters derived by the compiler.

The historical search record

The source inventory dated 29 October 2026 retains 127 scorecard records. Their original labels describe different tests and evidence classes. A consistency result, a null and a data limited search answer different questions; none alone establishes the physical theory.

The catalogue preserves historical, unreviewed attempt metadata. It is distinct from the current source reviewed findings and from a newly executed verification suite. FRB, GW and EHT searches test specified boundary recovery patterns. Downstream scale and cosmological interfaces retain their additional premises.
