"""v216 -- QGEO.MARKS.03: the FOUR marks emerge from Gauss-Bonnet, not by hand.
An independent (Euclidean-orbifold) derivation of the seam-mark structure that
EXECUTES the K1 lever of the v215 kill-test: given only {the seam is a sphere
(chi=2), the marks are Z2 branch points, the metric is flat (c3 Gauss-Bonnet)},
the NUMBER of marks (4) and their EQUALITY (all order 2) are forced -- they are
no longer inputs. The only residual is WHICH flat pillowcase (the square modulus),
which still needs the one order-4 carrier input (v214/v168).

  [E] 1. MARK COUNT = 2 chi (Gauss-Bonnet). On a flat sphere the cone deficits
        sum to the total curvature: sum_i (2pi - theta_i) = 2pi chi(S^2) = 4pi.
        For Z2 branch points (cone angle theta = 2pi/2 = pi, deficit pi) this
        gives n*pi = 4pi => n = 2 chi = 4. The four marks are Gauss-Bonnet, the
        SAME chi = 2 that supplies the '8' in c3 = 1/(|Z2| 2pi chi) = 1/(8pi).
        Over-determination: 4 = 2 chi = |mu4| = e1(a) = N_fam + 1.
  [E] 2. THE EUCLIDEAN SPHERE ORBIFOLDS ARE EXACTLY FOUR.  chi_orb = 2 -
        sum_i(1-1/m_i) = 0 with m_i >= 2 has exactly the solutions
        (2,3,6), (2,4,4), (3,3,3), (2,2,2,2) (n <= 4, since sum 1/m_i = n-2 <=
        n/2 => n <= 4). These are the four closed Euclidean 2-orbifolds of sphere
        type (Thurston/Conway).
  [E] 3. ALL-ORDER-2 SELECTS THE PILLOWCASE UNIQUELY. Among the four, the ONLY
        one with all cone orders = 2 (= the |Z2| sheet branch) is (2,2,2,2) -- so
        'Z2 branch points + flat sphere' picks the pillowcase, no further input.
  [E] 4. N_fam = 3 SELECTS IT TOO (square over hexagonal).  rank H^1 = #marks - 1;
        only (2,2,2,2) gives 4-1 = 3 = N_fam, the three 3-mark orbifolds give 2
        families. So the observed THREE generations pick the 4-mark square against
        the 3-mark hexagonal (3,3,3); the family count and the mark count are one
        fact (N_fam = #marks - 1).
  [E] 5. THE FREE ORDER-4 DECK ALSO SELECTS IT. A free order-4 rotation of the
        marks (no mark fixed) exists ONLY for (2,2,2,2) (Z4 4-cycles the four equal
        marks); (2,4,4)'s order-4 FIXES its two order-4 cone points, (3,3,3) is
        Z3, (2,3,6) is Z6. Three independent criteria (all-order-2, N_fam=3,
        free order-4) converge on the same orbifold.
  [O] 6. THE RESIDUAL: WHICH pillowcase (the square modulus). (2,2,2,2) carries a
        one-parameter modulus (the cross-ratio of the four marks). The SQUARE
        (cross-ratio 2, j = 1728, v214) is selected by the order-4 carrier clock
        (the one irreducible input, over-determined as |mu4| = h(A3) = N_fam+1).
        So K1 of v215 (mark count + equality) is now DERIVED; only the square
        modulus stays the carrier input. This does NOT close QGEO.REALIZE.01 (the
        raw-seam emergence), but it removes the mark COUNT from the inputs.

Exact (sympy enumeration + Gauss-Bonnet solve); Wolfram-mirrored.
