"""v333 -- the CM-selection mechanism: tau=i (the square) is the UNIQUE order-4 modulus and
the attractor of mark-equilibration, so the last keystone residual is "the deck acts
geometrically", not "why the square".

v331 reduced the necessity of H to: the raw dynamics places the four marks at the square
(tau=i). This module attacks that selection with two independent, machine-checked arguments
and states precisely what remains.

  (i) ARITHMETIC: the square is the UNIQUE order-4 elliptic point of the modular group, so
       an order-4 (mu4) deck has no other fixed modulus than tau=i.
  (ii) DYNAMICAL: the square is the UNIQUE (mod rotation) minimizer/attractor of symmetric
       mark-equilibration (Fekete / log-energy) of four points -- so any symmetric
       relaxation of four marks flows to the square.

  [E] 1. ORDER-4 MODULAR ELEMENT.  S = [[0,-1],[1,0]] in SL(2,Z) has S^2 = -I, S^4 = I
        (order 4) and fixes tau = i (S.i = -1/i = i); i is the unique order-4 elliptic
        point of PSL(2,Z) (the only other elliptic point, rho, is order 3).
  [E] 2. DECK ORDER -> CM POINT (the selector).  an order-4 deck selects cross-ratio 2 =>
        j = 1728 => tau = i (the square); an order-3 deck selects the equianharmonic
        lambda (lambda^2-lambda+1=0) => j = 0 => tau = rho (the hexagon).  So the DECK
        ORDER fixes the CM modulus uniquely, and the carrier deck |mu4| = 4 (anchor-derived)
        => tau = i, not rho.
  [E] 3. MARK-EQUILIBRATION ATTRACTOR. four points on the circle minimizing the log-energy
        E = -sum_{i<j} log|z_i - z_j| (Fekete points) converge to EQUAL spacing (gaps pi/2)
        from random starts -- the square is the unique (mod rotation) attractor of symmetric
        mark-equilibration; the square also beats random perturbations in energy.
  [E] 4. NEG / SPECIFICITY.  an order-3 (hexagonal) deck would select tau = rho (j = 0),
        NOT the square -- the selection is deck-order-specific (j(i)=1728 != j(rho)=0).
  [O] 5. THE SHARPENED RESIDUAL. given the mu4 deck, tau = i is FORCED (arithmetic) and is
        the equilibration attractor (dynamical). What remains open is only that the seam
        recovery dynamics IS this symmetric mu4 equilibration acting GEOMETRICALLY (a
        conformal automorphism), vs an abstract Z4 on mark labels -- i.e. QGEO.SYM.01
        itself. The CM-selection residual is thus sharpened from "why the square" to "the
        deck acts geometrically". NOT a closure.

HONEST SCOPE: [E] the modular order-4 uniqueness + the deck-order->CM map + the
mark-equilibration attractor; [O] the deck acting geometrically (the postulate). Sharpens
v331's residual; does NOT close the bedrock. Python-only (numpy + scipy)."""
