"""v350 -- SEAM.EQUIV.BOOTSTRAP.01: the honest CORRECTION of v349's framing (prompted by the
right objection: "the inputs are not axioms -- they are back-determined by the theory").
v349 concluded "the raw seam does not carry the golden ratio (D5 has h=8 -> sqrt2)" and
reduced the keystone to "is g_car=5 a pentagon or a count?". That framing was WRONG on two
counts, and this module corrects it while keeping v349's true computations:
(i) g_car=5 is NOT a free axiom and NOT "the rank of D5" -- it is a BOOTSTRAP FIXED POINT,
over-determined, and specifically (the Coxeter-match, v6) it IS the largest prime of
h(E8)=30 = 2*3*5, i.e. the ICOSAHEDRAL 5-fold.
(ii) v349 tested golden-ness on the WRONG object (D5 in isolation, h=8); the actual TFPT
carrier is the mu4-GLUED object D5(+)A3+mu4 = E8 (h=30), which IS golden. The golden
ratio is EMERGENT from the seam's own mu4 gluing the carrier, not an external input.
[E] 1. THE INPUTS ARE BOOTSTRAP-FORCED, NOT FREE AXIOMS (v6). g_car=5 is over-determined
three independent ways: rank-fill (g_car+N_fam=8=rank E8), Coxeter-match (g_car = max
prime of h(E8)=30), and Pascal/glue (2^4 = C(5,0)+C(5,1)+C(5,2) = 16). So the
objection is correct: the numerical inputs are FIXED POINTS of the self-consistency,
not postulates one is free to choose.
[E] 2. g_car=5 IS THE ICOSAHEDRAL 5-FOLD, not the D5 rank. By the Coxeter-match, g_car=5 =
max prime of h(E8)=30, and h(E8)=30 = 2*3*5 is exactly the icosahedral axis data; the
atoms (|Z2|,N_fam,g_car)=(2,3,5) ARE the prime factorisation of the icosahedral
Coxeter number 30. So the "5" the bootstrap selects is intrinsically the icosahedral
5-fold (golden), NOT a bare count (which v349 mis-identified with the D5 rank, h=8).
[E] 3. THE GOLDEN RATIO IS EMERGENT FROM THE GLUE, not external (correcting v349). D5
(h=8) and A3 (h=4) are individually non-golden, but the mu4 simple-current extension
D5(+)A3 -> E8 (a theorem, v154, index 4=|mu4|) gives h(E8)=30, and 5|30 makes the E8
Coxeter element golden. The seam's OWN mu4 clock, gluing the carrier, PRODUCES the
golden 5-fold. v349 evaluated golden-ness on the un-glued pieces -- the wrong object.
[E] 4. SO v349's DICHOTOMY WAS FALSE. "Is g_car=5 a pentagon or a count?" is not a free
reading: the bootstrap (Coxeter-match) FORCES the pentagon (g_car=5 = the 5 in
h(E8)=30). The golden/icosahedral is bootstrap-forced, over-determined -- there is no
"count" alternative consistent with E8-closure.
[O] 5. THE RESIDUAL RELOCATES: the golden/icosahedral is NOT open (it is bootstrap-forced,
a fixed point + the v154 extension theorem); the GENUINELY open thing is only the
PHYSICAL CONTINUUM REALISATION -- that the raw RP quasi-free collar (a continuum AQFT
object) realises this algebraic E8 fixed point (the continuum-limit/OS question,
v336). The bootstrap is algebraic self-consistency; the continuum realisation is the
residual. HONEST CAVEAT: the bootstrap is self-consistency WITHIN the discrete
E8-closure framework (the Coxeter-match uses h(E8)=30), so it is "no free numerical
dials given the framework," not "from nothing"; the framework is the meta-input.
NET: the objection is right -- the inputs are over-determined fixed points, and the golden
ratio is emergent from the bootstrap, not an external axiom; v349's "raw seam lacks golden /
pentagon-vs-count" framing is corrected. The one genuine residual is the physical continuum
realisation (v336), NOT the golden ratio. Python-only (sympy); supersedes v349's interpretation."""
