"""v534 -- SEAM.STRADDLE.CONE.01: the RP cone on the interacting FK
quartets -- THE FIRST DYNAMICAL SELECTION OF THE ALIGNMENT BIT
(double-verdicted).  V1 = KILL (the literal leading-order cone
formalization dies), V2 = ERFOLG (the exact RP selection fires).
NO marker moves -- the alignment bit stays a typed discrete input
at P2 level; this module adds the first POSITIVE selection datum:
reflection positivity, imposed on the interacting mark family,
selects delta = pi/2 uniquely at toy level.

[E] 1. THE EXACT GEOMETRY (integer/Fraction): delta = pi/2 (m = 4) is
    the UNIQUE symmetric-straddle member of the mark family -- its
    stabilizer is the full clock+mirror group (rotations {0,4,8,12},
    reflection axes {3,7,11,15} = FOUR admissible bond cuts, straddled
    exactly {7,15}), its four quartets PARTITION the 16-circle, and
    every straddling quartet is reflection-CLOSED across its cut with
    exact sign +1; the asymmetric members m = 2/6 carry two cuts with
    one asymmetrically straddled axis each; odd m carry no bond axis
    (the typed v521/v525 placement artifact). Fix(G_delta) is
    1-dimensional throughout: the uniform ray for m in {2..6}, an
    NS-wrap-TWISTED signed ray for the tight members m in {1,7}.
[E] 2. V1 = KILL -- THE LEADING-ORDER CONE IS EMPTY: the first-order
    ground-state perturbation dG of the OS Gram (exact reduced
    resolvent of the gapped flat-band parent; Hermitian to 1e-15,
    central-difference regression 2e-8) has negative soft-block
    directions for EVERY member and BOTH signs -- the contract's
    linear-pencil formalization K_RP = {lambda: G^lead >= 0} carries
    no nontrivial cone anywhere. The recoverable leading-order
    content: on the STRADDLED cuts the drift sign pattern is exact --
    pi/2 has POSITIVE drift for s = + (+1.4e-4 on both straddled
    clock axes) and strongly negative for s = - (-3.7e-2); the
    asymmetric members have it REVERSED (m = 2, s = +: -1.9e-2).
[E] 3. V2 = ERFOLG -- THE SELECTION LAW (the central datum): among
    ALL well-posed members x coupling signs of the equivariant FK
    family exactly ONE combination keeps reflection positivity on
    every admissible cut over the entire grid g in {1/32 .. 8}:
    delta = pi/2 WITH POSITIVE COUPLING -- all four Grams PD
    (37,0,0) including the previously UNTESTED straddled clock axes
    7/15, minimum eigenvalue LIFTED from the free boundary 1.78e-6
    up to 5.5e-5 near g = 1/4 (the pi/2 interaction pushes the Gram
    AWAY from the RP boundary); m = 2/6 with s = + violate RP
    already at g = 1/32, with s = - from g = 1/8.  The v529
    straddle law REFINES: asymmetric straddling kills RP, the
    symmetric straddling of the self-mirror member protects it.
[E] 4. TYPING + CONTROLS: the leading order is NECESSARY (negative
    straddled drift kills at the smallest grid point) but NOT
    SUFFICIENT (m = 2/6 s = - carry positive drift yet die at 1/8;
    only pi/2 extends) -- the protection is NONPERTURBATIVE; every
    quartet-avoiding cut stays PD for every member/sign/g (the
    avoiding-cut soft negatives never materialize); Gibbs beta = 2
    reproduces the ground-state pattern on all four pi/2 cuts both
    signs; the non-equivariant direction lambda = e_0 breaks
    well-posedness (Gram non-Hermitian, dev 0.11) -- Fix does real
    work; clock-pair spectra identical to 4.4e-15; v529 B3 anchors
    reproduced.
Cross-link (typed observation, no claim): the RP-selected member
m = 4 is exactly the carrier of the v528 twist-class order parameter
O = 1/2 -- the dynamical selector and the kinematic definition of
the bit point at the SAME member.

Status: [E] exact Fraction/integer census + float-track certificates
(tolerances declared); [C] one toy, one interaction class (FK
quartets), flat-band parent, deg <= 2 OS bases, finite coupling grid
-- NO continuum claim, NO statement about A_hol beyond this model
class; WOIT.OS.TWISTOR.01 and the P2 typing keep their markers.
Python; Wolfram-mirrored (exact stabilizer/partition/closure/Fix
census -- 256-dim spectra and PT corrections Python-only), counted
per GATE.WOLFRAM.02.  Discovery provenance:
experiments/tfpt-discovery/seam_straddle_cone_probe.py
(15/15, 2026-07-24; run-1 -> run-2 transparency note kept verbatim
there).

=== ORIGINAL PROBE PREREGISTRATION (kept verbatim, abridged header) ===

Model (all [C] choices inherited verbatim from v529): 16-Majorana NS
seam circle, 256-dim Fock track; H_free = the v529 M4.1 flat-band
parent of the exact v519 chiral NS vacuum; mark member
M(delta = m pi/8) with mark bonds B_m = {0, m, 8, 8+m}; quartet
Q_b = g_{b-2} g_{b-1} g_b g_{b+1}; H_int(lambda) = sum_q lambda_q Q_q.

S1 (exact): stabilizer census m = 1..7; signed quartet action;
  Fix(G_delta); admissible cuts = odd stabilizer axes; straddle
  incidence; reflection-closure census.
S2 (leading correction): first-order PT dG_{c,q} via the reduced
  resolvent; Hermiticity 1e-8; central finite differences 1e-5;
  CONE CRITERION: soft block (free-Gram eigenvalues < 1e-3) of
  M_c(lambda) >= -1e-10 on every admissible cut.
S3 (ground truth): finite-g survival scan, both signs, grid
  {1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4} + extension {1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8}; v529 B3
  regression anchors locked; clock-pair identity; NEW data on the
  m = 4 straddled axes 7/15.
S4: Gibbs beta = 2 spot check; non-equivariant teeth.
S5 verdicts (split per the run-2 transparency note): V1 = the
  contract's literal leading-order cone; V2 = the exact RP
  selection.  ERFOLG for V2 iff SURVIVAL = {(m = 4, s = +)} unique;
  KILL iff pi/2 dies both signs or another member survives.

TRANSPARENCY: run 1 (2026-07-24) returned the preregistered verdict
UNENTSCHIEDEN with the typed mismatch (4, '+', 'no-cone-but-
survives'); run 2 split the conflated verdict into V1/V2 with NO
tolerance change and NO number changed; the S1.4 lock was corrected
to the MEASURED Fix structure (the odd-member wrap twist is a
finding, not a bug). Full note in the probe file.
