Original claim text

PROTON-DECAY WINDOW DECIDES BRANCH B (2026-06-18): d=6 tau_p(p->e+pi0) over the explicit thresholds -- minimal 16-Higgs tau_p~4.4e33 yr < Super-K (2.4e34) => KILLED even at the high hadronic band; +(15,1,1) [E8-allowed single 45] tau_p~1.6e35 yr > Super-K => survives now, but sits AT the Hyper-K reach (~1.4e35) => decisively falsifiable within the decade. Branch B is content-selected (must be +(15,1,1)) and Hyper-K-decisive; A (boundary-only) stays canonical. Marginal (one 45 in the hull, v247) + O(3) tau_p uncertainty.

Original classification detail

[X] minimal content killed by Super-K + Hyper-K decisive for the survivor; [C] +(15,1,1) survives now and is the only E8-allowed proton-safe content; [O] marginal (one 45) + O(3) hadronic uncertainty. Promotes branch B to a content-selected, dated-kill-test UV branch (still not the default).

Location recorded in the ledger

These document locations are recorded directly on the ledger row. They are document level navigation, rather than a newly inferred section citation.

Sections that explicitly cite this claim

A literal claim identifier is present in these paper sections. The section and its premises determine what the citation supports.

Navigation through a shared verification script

These sections cite a script associated with the claim. This is a source navigation join, rather than an explicit citation of the claim or a theorem equivalence.

    PS.PROTON.02 — the explicit Pati-Salam threshold model + proton-decay window that DECIDES branch B of the v265 fork; writes ps_threshold_proton.json. Two-step PS solve + d=6 tau_p(p->e+pi0); the carrier-native PS UV branch survives proton decay ONLY with the E8-allowed (15,1,1) [single 45]: minimal 16-Higgs M_GUT~2.4e15 -> tau_p~4.4e33 yr KILLED by Super-K (2.4e34), +(15,1,1) M_GUT~5.9e15 -> tau_p~1.6e35 yr safe now but at the Hyper-K reach (~1.4e35) -> a dated kill test within the decade. Marginal (only ONE 45 in the hull, v247) + O(3) hadronic uncertainty. A (boundary-only) stays canonical.
