Follow a result back to its evidence.

Choose a result, inspect its assumptions, then run the calculation that supports it. Each check answers a specific question. The original status and the scope of that answer stay attached.

Start with the E₈ construction.

The first module builds the lattice explicitly. It checks the glue, constructs its 240 roots and tests the lattice basis. You can read the source before running it.

Question
Does the explicit construction give the even, unimodular E₈ lattice?
What is tested
Shared ℤ₄ discriminant data; glue norms 5/4 + 3/4 = 2; 240 roots of squared length 2; an integral, even basis with determinant 1.

Python runs in your browser using Pyodide. The first run downloads the runtime. Its output appears in the existing verification viewer, including any failure and the local reproduction command.

This is a mathematical lattice check. Identifying that lattice with a physical system requires additional arguments and retains its own status.

Find the source behind a check.

Search all 707 registered Python modules by subject, filename, claim or source section. This catalogue records source presence and links. It does not report a new execution or a passing result for every module.

WOIT.BETA3.DUALITY.01: the WOIT-beta3 milestone of the OS twistor bridge executed — 'the PT ↔ PT* duality typed against sigma_std' (verdict SUCCESS per the frozen preregistration; the contract kill branch is EMPTY BY ALGEBRA; no marker moves): (1) the COMPATIBLE CLASS — a duality is a nondegenerate Hermitian form Phi on C^4, and clock compatibility (rho4 = diag(i,1,i,1)) forces the four cross-eigenspace entries to zero exactly: two 2×2 Hermitian blocks on {e1,e3} ⊕ {e2,e4}, 16 → 8 real parameters (deck adds nothing; the wrong clock lift breaks the split); (2) the DICHOTOMY — pairing against Woit's Euclidean structure rho_tw splits the class exactly in two: the EUCLIDEAN branch (sigma_std's home) has seam-line norm a(|z|²+1), no null point, no OS cut ever; the MINKOWSKI branch has norm a(|z|²−1) — the null locus meets the seam line EXACTLY in the seam circle for every member (the OS cut is FORCED, not imposed), and the second block is exactly minus the conjugate of the first (charpoly mirrored): the TOTAL SIGNATURE IS (2,2) for every nondegenerate member — Woit's Minkowski signature is a theorem of clock + rho_tw pairing, not an input; (3) the KILL IS EMPTY BY ALGEBRA — every compatible duality inverts clock AND deck (family D); a clock-centralising (family A) duality would need rho4² = scalar, but rho4² = diag(−1,1,−1,1): no solution, decided not scanned; s² = diag(a²,a²,c²,c²) > 0: Kramers-free; (4) the INDUCED MEMBER IS UNIQUE — seam preservation ⇔ b = 0, and then every member induces the SAME conjugation z → −conj(z) (mu = −1, fixed points ±i), perpendicular to sigma_std's z → +conj(z) (mu = +1, fixed points ±1), the clock exchanging exactly these two; (5) the QUOTIENT IDENTIFICATION — exact placement arithmetic and coordinate transport land the induced member on the k = 3 axis: it IS theta_perp, the mirror whose descent v524 certified (Theta_phys), while sigma_std's member transports to the CUT axis (the OS metric itself) — role separation complete; v524 regressions re-verified at N = 8 (Gram PD (16,0,0), anti-unitarity exact with eta_perp = +i, Theta² = +1 on both sectors, time reversal, torsor closure); controls: family A (4,4,0) no quotient, the Euclidean branch cannot cut, non-mu4 reflections not mark-anchored. Free/quotient level only; A_hol untouched; gamma is next (22 checks, ~2 s)

Different evidence answers different questions.

A numerical calculation, a formal theorem and an experimental comparison carry different kinds of information. Follow the source appropriate to the claim.

Python calculations
Inspect the algorithm, its inputs and its negative controls. Run a browser compatible module here, or use the repository for the complete environment.Browse Python sources
Formal mathematics

Independent implementation
The Wolfram implementation checks algebraic results through a separate computational path. The recorded runs report 116/116 base checks and 603/603 extension checks. This is distinct from external experimental replication.Read the Wolfram implementation
Physical comparison

Run the same check on your machine.

From a checkout of the repository, install its Python requirements and run the first lattice module. The complete suite is a separate step.

Set up the repository

git clone https://github.com/sthamann/tfpt.git
cd tfpt
python3 -m venv .venv
.venv/bin/pip install -r requirements.txt

Check the E₈ lattice

.venv/bin/python verification/v1_e8_glue.py

Read the individual checks and the final pass or fail result.

Run the registered suite

cd verification
../.venv/bin/python run_all.py

The full suite uses the dependencies and source context documented in the repository.

Read the current claim beside its source.

The research snapshot dated 2026-11-02 includes the active ledger, reviewed findings and registered scripts. It records source coverage and stated scope; it is not a new execution of every proof or calculation.

Trace the dependencies.

Select a node to inspect its inputs, outputs, scope and verification scripts. Browser compatible checks open the same verification viewer; native certificates provide their local command.
