"""v114 -- The torsion normal form and the delta = 1/2 theorem: the
distinguished lepton transport value is a mu_4-torsion identity on the
involutive branch, not an observation. [I] symbolic theorems + [N] branch
census; the GATE.UWALL.05 'genericity future work' item is executed.

v41 left one suggestive observation: at the explicit (U_wall) point the
harmonic-frame holonomy diagonal modulus is (0, 1/2, 1/2), and that 1/2
equals the distinguished lepton transport value delta = 1/2 that v20 used
by hand. "Genericity across the locus" was explicitly future work. This
module executes it -- and finds an exact theorem.

  [I] 1. FLATNESS = mu_4 TORSION (normal form).  For ANY M (symbolic 3x3)
         and U = diag(1, i, -i):
             prod_{k=0..3} U^k M U^{-k} = (MU)^4        (U^4 = 1).
         The Z4-family flatness constraint prod = 1 is EXACTLY the
         torsion statement "T = MU is a fourth root of unity" -- the mu_4
         atom appears as the ORDER of the twisted cusp generator.
  [I] 2. THE DELTA = 1/2 THEOREM (involutive branch).  If T = MU is a
         unitary INVOLUTION (T^2 = 1) and tr M = 0 (cusp trace), then T
         is a Hermitian reflection 2vv^dag - 1 and the trace condition
         2 v^dag U^{-1} v = 1 splits into
             |v_1|^2 = 1/2   (real part),   |v_2| = |v_3|  (imag part),
         which forces EXACTLY
             diag M = (0, i/2, -i/2),    spec M = {1, w, w^2}
         (the cusp CLASS is automatic: unitary + tr 0 + det 1 => char
         poly lam^3 - 1). So on the whole involutive branch
             delta = |M_22| = 1/2   EXACTLY AND CONSTANTLY
         -- the distinguished lepton transport value is a torsion
         identity, and d_1 = 0 is forced by the same condition.
  [I] 3. REFLECTION LEMMA.  The D4 reflection V M V^{-1} = M^{-1}
         (V = -swap_23) on a unitary M forces diag M = (r, z, zbar) with
         r real; with the cusp trace, Re z = -r/2. The whole diagonal
         freedom of the D4 locus is the ONE real parameter r, and
         delta = 1/2 <=> r = 0.
  [N] 4. BRANCH CENSUS (numerical, seeded). Sampling the full D4-fixed
         flat cusp locus: only tr T in {1, -1} is realised. On the
         involutive branch (spec T = {1,-1,-1}) the diagonal is CONSTANT
         (0, 1/2, 1/2) to machine precision -- the theorem, observed.
         On the {1, i, -i} branch d_1 varies over [0, 1] -- and the
         explicit v33/v40 point sits exactly in its d_1 = 0 slice, the
         SAME delta value as the involutive branch.
  [P] 5. RESIDUE (recorded, not claimed): whether the bundle side (the
         anchor splitting type O(-2)+O(-1)^2 of Mehta-Seshadri) forces
         the d_1 = 0 slice of the {1,i,-i} branch -- or selects the
         involutive branch -- is the remaining question; delta = 1/2
         itself is no longer the open item.
