r"""v973 -- SEAM.EQUIV.MMST.01 [O update: the cited-theorem coverage carved into COVERED (so(16)_1 bilinear current algebra, strong convergence, polynomial error estimates) vs NOT-COVERED (N1 mu4/GSO extension as a net, N2 twist sector, N3 one-sided edge, N4 holomorphy selector) + a measured collar convergence rate p = 3.48 inside the cited band] + SEAM.EQUIV.TWISTOR.01 [O update: the declared measure is UNIQUE on the computable sector up to exactly ONE named flat direction] + SEAM.EQUIV.SKELETON.01 [E, NEW: the two routes share the executable OS skeleton 5/5 with all divergences control-typed] + SEAM.EQUIV.01 [O update: parent prose]: THE SEAM ROUTE NARROWING -- one module from three finished exploration probes, consolidating the 2026-08-27 seam adjudication wave.

(1) THE MMST COVERAGE ADJUDICATION (mmst_wzw_coverage_probe.py,
19/19, SPEC_SHA e6f392cbcd0d3ae1, VERDICT
COVERAGE_PARTIAL_RATE_CONSISTENT): the literature adjudication of
Osborne-Stottmeister, "Conformal Field Theory from Lattice
Fermions" (Comm. Math. Phys. 398 (2023) 219; arXiv:2107.13834;
OS23) against the TFPT seam target SO(16)_1 -> (E8)_1 at c = 8.
COVERED by OS23's proved statements: the so(N)_1 / u(N)_1
fermion-bilinear WZW currents converge STRONGLY on the
finite-particle core (Sect. 5 / Thm 5.1 displayed for u(1), the
nonabelian case via the Cauchy-Schwarz reduction Eq. 229 plus the
closing remark incl. the Majorana algebras), the Virasoro /
Koo-Saleur generators (Thms A/4.11/4.16), the correlators
(Thms B/C), and the explicit POLYNOMIAL error estimates
Error^2 <= C 2^(-2 delta N) with delta in [0, 2] (Eqs. 205/207).
NOT COVERED (named): N1 the mu4/GSO simple-current extension
SO(16)_1 -> (E8)_1 as a NET statement (the 128 weight-1 spinor
currents are NOT fermion bilinears), N2 the twist / spin-field
sector (explicitly deferred by the paper), N3 the one-sided chiral
edge net of a 2+1D bulk, N4 the OS/holomorphy selector
det K = 1 vs 4.  NEW MEASUREMENT: the edge-correlator convergence
rate on the v367 collar is p = 3.48 (Richardson triplets 3.1-4.2,
preregistered band [0.5, 4.0]), error 6.3e-2 -> 2.7e-6 over
Nx = 16..256; the M = 3 trivial control does NOT converge to the
chiral target (min rel dev 0.836); the coverage gates are
exact-integer (248 = 120 + 128, 240 roots = 112 + 128, det Cartan
4 -> 1, index arithmetic).

(2) THE TWISTOR MEASURE RIGIDITY (bcov_measure_uniqueness_probe.py,
20/20, SPEC_SHA 0875f39fe1d0fa0f, VERDICT RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(1)): on
the computable v508/v515 sector an 18-parameter deformation of the
declared measure data (contact normalisation, 4 sector weights,
residue normalisation, 4 linking charges, 4 centre positions) with
4 gauge directions => 14 moduli; the executed-constraint Jacobian
ranks are C1 clock 9 / C2 lockstep+integrality 8 / C3 charge 2 /
C4 null-ideal 2 with joint rank 13 => the moduli kernel is EXACTLY
1 = the uniform sector-weight shift dv = (1, 1, 1, 1), mapping to
the untwisted Okubo square Q0 = 36 (1, 2, 1, 0, 0), annihilated by
every executed certificate functional BY CONSTRUCTION (exactly
flat to all orders); anchors re-derived (A_fix =
(9, -30, -15, 0, 32), certificate (0, 32, 72), lockstep
2 pi i t0 (i-1)(1, i, i^2), N == 0 mod 4, psi(A_fix) = 64,
Q1 = Q3); byproducts: Phi_P = 3 Phi_T5 + (9/4) Phi_T3 on the
deformation image (72 = (9/4) x 32), the ablation ledger
(full, -C1, -C2, -C3, -C4, -C1&C2) = (1, 3, 1, 2, 3, 10).  HONEST:
the W2 : W13 = 4 : 3 Harvey-Moore tester is typed
NOT-TRANSCRIBABLE.

(3) THE CROSS-ROUTE OS SKELETON (woit_battery_mmst_probe.py,
19/19, SPEC_SHA 451bd470b98a9d6d, VERDICT SKELETON_SHARED(5/5,
FIRST_DIVERGENCE=ALPHA.SITECUT.CHECKERBOARD)): ALL five WOIT
kill-test main invariants (alpha: forced eta = +i, Theta^2 = +1,
bond RP; beta1: GSO 2-torsion; beta2: OS quotient exists + KMS
expansion lambda_max > 1; beta3: perp descent Theta^2 = +1; gamma:
mirror flip, multiplicity-free, mark incidence) hold VERBATIM on
the p+ip collar edge; ALL divergences are control-typed and trace
to ONE mechanism -- the twistor lattice's exact chiral checkerboard
C(even) = 0 vs the collar kernel's K(even) up to 0.1736 --
independently confirming v519-R4's typing of the site-cut RP
failure as a lattice-placement artifact, now from the second
route. BONUS: the collar's top edge realizes the anti-chiral
state EXACTLY (max |K_top + K_bot| = 7.5e-16); the M = 3 trivial
collar loses the skeleton FIRST at GAMMA.MARK.INCIDENCE (the mark
Grams lose rank, (13, 0, 3) vs (16, 0, 0)) -- the skeleton tracks
the topological phase, not the lattice bookkeeping.

THE MODULE-OWN EXACT SECTION S0 (numpy/sympy/Fractions only, no
probe imports): (a) the coverage arithmetic EXACT -- the 240 E8
roots enumerated as 112 integer + 128 half-integer spinor roots,
dim E8 = 248 = 120 + 128 with 120 = C(16,2) bilinears and
128 = 2^7 = dim S+, the central-charge window
c = 16 x (1/2) = 8 = rank with 8 <= 8 <= 16, det Cartan D8 = 4 ->
det Cartan E8 = 1 by explicit simple-root Gram matrices, and the
index arithmetic [E8 : D8]^2 = 4/1 => index 2 with 2 x 2 = 4 =
|mu4|; (b) the uniqueness linear algebra on an exact rational
reconstruction of the constraint-Jacobian block structure -- an
18-parameter space mixed through a fixed unimodular integer change
of basis, four constraint blocks of ranks EXACTLY (9, 8, 2, 2)
with joint rank 13, a 4-dimensional gauge space inside the kernel
of every block, joint kernel 5 => moduli kernel EXACTLY 1, the
full ablation ledger (1, 3, 1, 2, 3, 10) reproduced exactly, and a
dropped-constraint mutant that MUST open the kernel (drop C4 =>
moduli 3, the RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(1) bar refuses -- CAUGHT); (c) the
skeleton bookkeeping -- the five main invariants as frozen decision
logic, the checkerboard mechanism as an EXACT statement (on a
bipartite chain S H S = -H exactly, hence EVERY odd polynomial of
H -- in particular the flat-band kernel sign(H) -- vanishes
identically on even distances; re-derived exactly in integer
arithmetic on all odd powers and confirmed on sign(H) numerically;
a next-nearest-hop mutant breaks bipartiteness and is CAUGHT), and
the anti-chirality identity K_top = -K_bot as an EXACT symmetry
consequence on a small strip (P H P = -H exactly for the
row-swap P => P sign(H) P = -sign(H), the top block is exactly
minus the bottom block; odd powers exact, sign(H) numeric to
1e-13). VERDICT BARS: the three probe verdict letters re-derived
by exact decision logic with tipping mutants -- a fake
COVERAGE_FULL claim is REFUSED by the nonempty N1-N4 gate, a
kernel-dim mutant (moduli 3) is refused by the
RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(1) bar, an invariant flip or an untyped
divergence is refused by the SKELETON_SHARED bar, and a hash
mutation of any embedded source is caught by the sha256 ward; the
composition gate assembles exactly the claim split above and every
tipping mutant changes the composition.

PROVENANCE: discovery probes mmst_wzw_coverage_probe.py (19/19,
SPEC_SHA e6f392cbcd0d3ae1, VERDICT
COVERAGE_PARTIAL_RATE_CONSISTENT), bcov_measure_uniqueness_probe.py
(20/20, SPEC_SHA 0875f39fe1d0fa0f, VERDICT RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(1)),
woit_battery_mmst_probe.py (19/19, SPEC_SHA 451bd470b98a9d6d,
VERDICT SKELETON_SHARED(5/5,
FIRST_DIVERGENCE=ALPHA.SITECUT.CHECKERBOARD)); all three green,
deterministic, with sealed .run1/.run2 logs experiments-side;
2026-08-27. EMBEDDING CONVENTION (as in v960..v970): the three
frozen sources are embedded BYTE-EXACT as string constants,
sha256-pinned, byte-warded against the
experiments/tfpt-discovery/ copies inside the pattern gates, and
executed VERBATIM in isolated module namespaces (runtimes
0.3/0.4/0.2 s); the printed gate counts (19/19, 20/20, 19/19),
verdict letters and SPEC SHAs are gated.

HONEST BOUNDARY (what this module does NOT say): the coverage
gates are executable TRANSCRIPTIONS of a human literature
adjudication -- bookkeeping made machine-checkable, not new
mathematics; the rate observable SUPERCONVERGES (p = 3.48 >
delta_max = 2) against the cited UPPER bound -- consistent, but
the band's upper edge is calibration-informed, not paper-derived;
the sector uniqueness is NOT a BCOV derivation -- the "computable
sector" is the finite v508/v515 shadow, C4 pins level sets of
EXECUTED functionals only, and the W-ratio tester stays
NOT-TRANSCRIBABLE; the skeleton fidelity is typed per test
(FULL where the collar carries the invariant verbatim, PARTIAL
where a control-typed divergence remains) and the shared skeleton
is an executable-level statement, not an equivalence of the two
routes. NO marker moves: SEAM.EQUIV.MMST.01 and
SEAM.EQUIV.TWISTOR.01 both stay [O] on their open residuals
(the cited continuum existence resp. the global quantisation);
the parent SEAM.EQUIV.01 stays [O]; the ONLY new row is
SEAM.EQUIV.SKELETON.01 [E] for the executable skeleton statement.

FIREWALL: exploration firewall respected at promotion -- the
probes touched nothing outside experiments/tfpt-discovery/ and are
consumed here read-only; no external data, no fits, no RNG beyond
the probes' own declared deterministic builds; ground-truth record
values (verdict letters, rank tuples, rate pins) enter GATES only.
Python-only per GATE.WOLFRAM.02.

r"""mmst_wzw_coverage_probe -- SEAM.MMST.WZW_COVERAGE.01:
literature adjudication of the Osborne-Stottmeister WZW-current
theorem's COVERAGE of the TFPT seam target, plus a NEW empirical
convergence-RATE gate on the v367/v444 p+ip collar edge.

EXPLORATION ONLY (2026-08-27). experiments/ level: NO promotion, NO
ledger row, NO marker moved, NO gate closed or narrowed.

WHY THIS ROUND EXISTS. v336 consumes Osborne-Stottmeister,
"Conformal Field Theory from Lattice Fermions" (Comm. Math. Phys.
398 (2023) 219, arXiv:2107.13834; below OS23) as the citable
continuum-scaling-limit leg of SEAM.EQUIV.01, quoting the WZW window
rank <= c <= D. The corpus never adjudicated PRECISELY which part
of the seam target (SO(16)_1 -> (E8)_1 at c = 8) the proved theorems
cover, and v444 gated only Cauchy SHRINKAGE of the collar edge
correlator, never a convergence RATE against the polynomial form of
OS23's explicit error estimates. This round does both: (a) a typed
coverage adjudication transcribed into exact-integer gates, and
(b) a preregistered rate measurement on the same collar.

LEG (a) ADJUDICATION (from the OS23 full text; anchors are OS23
section / theorem / equation numbers):

COVERED (by OS23's proved statements):
  A1. Free-fermion scaling limits via operator-algebraic
      renormalization, complex AND self-dual (Majorana) CAR algebras
      (Sects. 2-3; wavelet RG Sect. 3.1, momentum-cutoff RG
      Sect. 3.2; ground-state scaling limit Lemma 3.11).
  A2. Virasoro / Koo-Saleur convergence: KS approximants converge
      STRONGLY to the continuum Virasoro generators on the dense
      core of finite-energy vectors, central charge c = 1/2, 1
      (Thm A = Thm 4.11; smeared version Thm 4.16); Virasoro n-point
      correlators converge (Thm C = Thm 6.3).
  A3. WZW currents that are NORMAL-ORDERED FERMION BILINEARS
      (Sect. 5): the u(1) current -- Thm 5.1, smeared lattice
      currents converge STRONGLY on the dense domain F_alg(D_std) of
      finite-particle vectors; nonabelian u(D)_1 currents
      J^mu = t^mu_ij :psi_i^dag psi_j: (Eq. 225) by the
      Cauchy-Schwarz reduction (Eq. 229); the closing remark of
      Sect. 5 extends the same reasoning to ANY simply-laced g_k
      current of bilinear form (225), "possibly by using the
      Majorana algebras". Hence so(16)_1 on D = 16 Majoranas (the
      adjoint = 120 antisymmetric bilinears) and u(8)_1 on 8 Dirac
      fermions (64 bilinears) ARE inside the proved class; the WZW
      window rank <= c <= D (Sect. 1.1) holds: 8 <= 8 <= 16.
      Honest nuance: Thm 5.1 is DISPLAYED only for u(1); the
      nonabelian case is proved-by-reduction (229) plus remark.
  A4. Correlation functions + explicit POLYNOMIAL error estimates:
      dynamical fermion correlators under current/KS-generated
      Bogoliubov flows (Thm B = Thm 6.1, uniform in t on compacts),
      mixed correlators with WZW-current insertions (Remark after
      Thm 6.3); error form Error^2 <~ C * 2^(-2*delta*N),
      delta in [0, 2] (Eqs. 205, 207) -- i.e. Error ~ eps_N^delta,
      polynomial in the lattice spacing, up to second order.

NOT COVERED (named; what the TFPT seam target still needs):
  N1. NET_EXTENSION_MU4_GSO -- the simple-current (mu4 / GSO)
      extension SO(16)_1 -> (E8)_1 as a NET statement.  The 128
      weight-1 spinor currents (128 = 2^7 = dim S+ of so(16);
      248 = 120 + 128) are NOT fermion bilinears, hence outside the
      Sect.-5 class; OS23's own scope line restricts results to
      "free-fermion CFTs, products thereof and certain CFTs
      embeddable into those", and defers general rational-CFT
      extensions to anyonic-chain methods (Sect. 1.1).
  N2. ODD_SECTOR_TWIST_FIELDS -- convergence for odd / twist
      (spin-field) observables is explicitly deferred to "a separate
      publication" (Sect. 1.1, Ising remark); the SO(16)_1 spinor
      sector whose currents build (E8)_1 is exactly this type.
  N3. ONE_SIDED_CHIRAL_EDGE_NET -- OS23 lives on a 1+1-d lattice
      with BOTH chiralities entangled at finite scale (the finitely
      renormalized states are not pure "due to the entanglement of
      the chiral halves", Sect. 1.2); the TFPT seam needs the
      genuinely one-sided chiral edge net of a 2+1-d p+ip bulk
      (bulk-edge correspondence) -- not an OS23 statement.
  N4. OS_HOLOMORPHY_SELECTOR -- nothing in OS23 selects the
      holomorphic det K = 1 net (E8)_1 over det K = 4 SO(16)_1 at
      c = 8; the OS-reconstruction / holomorphy discriminator legs
      (v336 legs 2 and 4) are external to the paper.

So OS23 covers the BILINEAR HALF of the seam target (the SO(16)_1
current algebra and its convergence with polynomial rate) and does
NOT cover the extension half (mu4/GSO net statement, twist sector,
one-sided edge, holomorphy selector). COVERAGE_FULL is therefore
not on the table; the probe adjudicates PARTIAL vs ABSENT, and the
rate leg adjudicates RATE_CONSISTENT vs RATE_INCONSISTENT.

LEG (b) THE RATE MEASUREMENT (new empirical content). On the
v367/v444 p+ip collar (rebuilt in-probe; M = 1 topological, gapped;
strip periodic in x, open in y; the momentum-space build is the
EXACT x-Fourier transform of v444's real-space model and is
cross-checked against it), define the edge-row Nambu correlator
C_Nx(r) at y = 0 and the dimensionless ratio
    rho(Nx) = C_Nx(Nx/4) / C_Nx(Nx/8).
The chiral-CFT prediction (eta = 1 correlator on a ring, chord law
1/chord(r), chord(r) = (Nx/pi) sin(pi r/Nx)) gives the continuum
target
    T = chord(Nx/8)/chord(Nx/4) = sin(pi/8)/sin(pi/4) = 0.5411961...
independent of Nx. Under the refinement ladder
Nx = 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96, 128, 192, 256 the error
e(Nx) = |rho(Nx) - T| must vanish POLYNOMIALLY, exponent p from the
log-log fit plus dyadic Richardson cross-checks.

PRE-REGISTERED BAND (frozen before the record runs; a disclosed
calibration pass informed the bars, prints frozen below):
RATE_BAND = [0.5, 4.0].  Rationale: OS23's Eqs. (205)/(207) are
UPPER bounds Error ~ eps_N^delta with delta in [0, 2] at the
operator level, so consistency requires only p >= a first-order-ish
lower edge (0.5 = half the guaranteed first order, honest margin);
the upper edge 4.0 is a calibration-informed allowance for
OBSERVABLE-level superconvergence -- the dimensionless ratio cancels
the leading amplitude correction and the calibration measured
p ~ 3.5, which does NOT contradict an upper bound.  A wrong-target
mutant must land OUTSIDE the band (rate ~ 0).

PRE-REGISTERED ADJUDICATION:
  P1 coverage arithmetic (exact integers): 16 Majoranas = 8 Dirac,
     c = 16/2 = 8 = rank so(16), window 8 <= 8 <= 16; bilinear
     counts dim so(16) = C(16,2) = 120, dim u(8) = 8^2 = 64.
  P2 the extension is OUTSIDE the bilinear class (exact): dim E8 =
     248 = 120 + 128, 128 = 2^7 = dim S+ (not a bilinear count);
     root split 240 = 112 + 128 by explicit enumeration; spinor
     conformal weight h(S+) = 1 and h(vector) = 1/2 by exact
     Sugawara arithmetic (inverse Cartan of D8, h_dual = 14, k = 1).
  P3 det/index bookkeeping (exact): det Cartan D8 = 4 -> det Cartan
     E8 = 1; lattice index [E8 : D8] = 2 with index^2 = 4/1; global
     index of SO(16)_1 = sum d_i^2 over its 4 simple-current
     primaries = 4 -> 1 (holomorphic); typed COVERED/NOT-COVERED
     table internally consistent (bilinear predicate separates).
  P4 collar rebuild: gap(M=1) = 2, Chern |C| = 1 (M=1) vs 0 (M=3);
     momentum-space == real-space correlator to < 1e-12.
  P5 edge criticality: eta(Nx=64) in [0.85, 1.15] (log-log fit,
     r in [2, 16]); bulk-row slope < -0.3 (exponential).
  P6 THE RATE GATE: ladder valid (strictly increasing, span >= 8x,
     all rungs divisible by 8); e(Nx) strictly decreasing along the
     ladder; fitted exponent p in RATE_BAND = [0.5, 4.0]; dyadic
     Richardson exponents (16,32,64), (32,64,128), (64,128,256) all
     > 0, the finest inside the band, max |p_Rich - p| <= 1.0.
  P7 negative control: M = 3 (trivial, no edge) must NOT converge
     to T: min over its ladder of |rho - T|/T >= 0.5 and
     rho_triv(128) < 0.01 (it decays toward 0, not T).
  P8 mutant A (wrong CFT target T^2, the eta=2 value): the rate
     extractor must FAIL the band (p < 0.5) with terminal error
     > 0.1 => CAUGHT.
  P9 mutant B (scrambled refinement ladder, frozen permutation):
     the ladder validator must flag it => CAUGHT.
EXPECTED VERDICT (pre-registered): COVERAGE_PARTIAL_RATE_CONSISTENT.
VERDICT ENUM: COVERAGE_PARTIAL_RATE_CONSISTENT /
COVERAGE_PARTIAL_RATE_INCONSISTENT / COVERAGE_FULL (only if Thm 5.1
provably covered the (E8)_1 net statement -- it does not) /
COVERAGE_ABSENT.

CALIBRATION RECORD (one disclosed calibration pass, prints frozen
verbatim; no bar, ladder rung, Ny, target or tolerance moved after
freeze):
CAL_RHO {Nx: rho}: 16: 0.47779817, 24: 0.52679022, 32: 0.53836478,
  48: 0.54167324, 64: 0.54161384, 96: 0.54132400, 128: 0.54123909,
  192: 0.54120460, 256: 0.54119878.  (Note the sign change of
  rho - T between Nx = 32 and 48: two competing correction terms;
  |e| stays strictly decreasing.)
CAL_P = 3.477 (log-log fit over the full ladder).
CAL_RICH = 4.220 / 3.116 / 3.217 (dyadic triplets, coarse to fine).
CAL_ETA(64) = 0.991; CAL_BULK_SLOPE = -0.874.
CAL_TRIV {Nx: rho}: 16: 8.902e-02, 32: 1.713e-02, 64: 9.494e-04,
  128: 3.730e-06 (decaying toward 0, min |rho-T|/T = 0.836).
CAL_MUT_A: rate -0.067, terminal error 0.248 (CAUGHT).
Ny-independence: rho(64) identical to 10 decimals for
Ny = 16/20/24/28 (frozen NY = 20); the kx = 0 strip carries two
EXACT zero modes, both excluded by the occupancy rule w < -1e-9
(the v444 convention, deterministic).

WHAT IS BUILT AND GATED: S0 G01 firewall + G02 preregistration;
S1 coverage transcription G10-G14 (exact sympy/Fraction integer
arithmetic only); S2 collar + rate G20-G26; S3 mutants G30-G31;
S4 G40 determinism vs frozen calibration, G41 verdict, G99 runtime.
DETERMINISM: no randomness anywhere; fixed ladder, fixed Ny, fixed
occupancy rule; run2 must be identical modulo wall-clock tokens
(lines carrying 'WALL').

HONEST LIMITATIONS: (i) the rate is measured on ONE dimensionless
observable of ONE collar model -- it grounds the polynomial-rate
FORM of OS23's estimates on the TFPT collar, it does not verify the
theorem's constants or its operator topology; (ii) the observable
superconverges (p ~ 3.5 > delta_max = 2), so the band's upper edge
is calibration-informed, not paper-derived; (iii) the coverage
gates are exact TRANSCRIPTIONS of a human literature adjudication
-- executable bookkeeping, not new mathematics; (iv) nothing here
closes or narrows SEAM.EQUIV.01: the four NOT-COVERED items stand.

r"""bcov_measure_uniqueness_probe -- SEAM.TWISTOR.MEASURE_RIGIDITY.01:
strategy S5 -- upgrade "DECLARED twisted BCOV/KS measure" to "unique
solution of the EXECUTED constraints" on the computable twistor
sector: parametrise an honest deformation family of the measure data
and cut it with the already-executed constraint gates; count the
surviving deformation dimensions. Exact rational linear algebra
throughout (sympy / Fraction, no floats, no RNG, deterministic).

EXPLORATION ONLY (2026-08-27). experiments/ level: NO promotion, NO
ledger row, NO marker moved, NO gate closed or narrowed.

WHY THIS ROUND EXISTS. v516/v518 leave the BCOV measure question as
the named [O]: the DECLARED completion reading delivers the psi = 64
slice and cancels 32 T3, the DERIVED chiral measure fails all three
testers (v518, the negative anchor of this round). Before any new
derivation, S5 asks the cheaper RIGIDITY question: how much freedom
do the constraints ALREADY EXECUTED in the suite leave for the
measure data on the finite computable sector? Joint kernel 0 would
upgrade "declared" to "unique-on-sector"; a nonzero kernel names the
surviving directions exactly.

THE COMPUTABLE SECTOR (what "measure" concretely means here -- the
finite shadow the cited modules actually compute):
  (a) v508: the 5-dim W(D5) x W(A3)-invariant quartic space
      (P1, P2, P3, T5, T3); the per-class quartic power sums Q_m
      (m = 0..3, with Q_1 = Q_3 exactly); the contact vector
      A = kappa sum_m v_m Q_m with declared weights
      v* = (5/4, -1/4, -3/4, -1/4) (= the AB weights
      w = (0, 1/2, 1/4, 1/2) Fourier-transformed to class space);
      A(declared) = A_fix = (9, -30, -15, 0, 32), certificate
      (Phi_T5, Phi_T3, Phi_P) = (0, 32, 72).
  (b) v515: the seam-fibre period vector Pi_j(0) = 2 pi i t0 (i-1)
      (1, i, i^2) of the centre orbit z_p = i^p t0; the clock
      covariance Pi_{j+1}(-i la) = i Pi_j(la) for ALL la; the
      linking charges N_p = (1, 1, 1, 1) in Omega_N = Omega_0 +
      sum_p N_p K_p with every period in (2 pi i)^2 Z; the
      residue-form cover charge 4 = |mu4| (omega2 = c dX^dZ/X,
      pullback 4c dz1^dz2).
  (c) v518 (the negative anchor): the delta-1 route is DEAD under
      the derived measure; "compatibility with the kill" = the
      deformed contact vector must stay on the executed certificate
      level set (driving Phi_T3 -> 0 / Phi_P -> 0 would make A_fix
      exchange-reachable = resurrect the killed normalisation).

THE DEFORMATION FAMILY (18 real rational parameters at the declared
point; honest = it deforms exactly the data entering the
period/pairing computations, same support, same grading):
  dk overall normalisation kappa of the contact functional
  dv_m        the four sector weights v_m (m = 0..3)
  dc          the residue-form normalisation c (omega2 = c dX^dZ/X)
  dn_p the four linking charges N_p
  da_p, db_p  the four centre positions z_p = i^p (1 + da_p + i db_p)
GAUGE (reparametrisations verified to act trivially on EVERY
constraint output by FINITE substitution, not just linearised):
  g1 the (kappa, v) rescaling kappa -> t kappa, v -> v/t;
  g2 the common centre phase (coordinate rotation Z -> s Z, |s| = 1);
  g3 the common centre scale (the t0 / coordinate rescaling --
     trivial on the dimensionless / quantised executed outputs);
  g4 the conjugate-sector transfer v_1 <-> v_3 (Q_1 = Q_3 EXACTLY on
     this sector, so the transfer is invisible here; on a finer
     sector -- the full tensor ledger -- it would be physical; typed
     honestly as gauge-ON-SECTOR).
dim(param) = 18, dim(gauge) = 4, dim(moduli) = 14.

CONSTRAINT TRANSCRIPTION (typed; each leg = an executed gate):
  C1 CLOCK INVARIANCE, order 4 (v492 S5 / v515 S2.3, TRANSCRIBED):
     the clock permutes the centre lines L_p -> L_{p+1} and centres
     i z_p = z_{p+1}; invariance rows dz_{p+1} = dz_p (exact linear
     residual, not a linearisation) and n_{p+1} = n_p.
  C2 LOCKSTEP / PERIOD STRUCTURE (v515 S3.2/S3.3/S4, TRANSCRIBED;
     the integrality leg is the tangent condition of a DISCRETE
     executed constraint: the only continuous deformation of a
     (2 pi i)^2 Z-valued period is zero): rows dn_p = 0; the clock
     covariance of Pi_j(la) at all powers of la; lockstep modulus
     equality |Pi_j| = |Pi_0| (expected to add rank 0 beyond the
     covariance rows on this family -- printed either way).
  C3 FORCED SOURCE CHARGE 4 = |mu4| (v515 S1.2/S4.3, TRANSCRIBED):
     cover-pullback charge 4c = 4 (row dc = 0) and lens total
     charge sum_p N_p = 4 (row sum dn = 0).
  C4 NULL-IDEAL / NO-RESURRECTION (v508 S3.2 + v518, TRANSCRIBED):
     the deformed contact vector stays on the executed certificate
     level set Phi_T5(A) = 0, Phi_T3(A) = 32, Phi_P(A) = 72; the
     psi functional is DEPENDENT (psi = Phi_P - Phi_T3/4, shown
     exactly), so psi(A) = 64 is implied.
     NOT-TRANSCRIBABLE on this sector: the W_2 : W_13 = 4 : 3
     Harvey-Moore tester (it needs the modular-integral kernel
     weights J(Delta, s), which have no finite exact shadow in this
     probe) -- typed, not faked.

PRE-REGISTERED ADJUDICATION (frozen before the record run):
  P1 anchors, one headline number per module, re-derived exactly:
     v508: A_fix = (9, -30, -15, 0, 32) + certificate (0, 32, 72)
     from the 240 glue roots; v515: the closed twistor family +
     lockstep vector 2 pi i t0 (i-1)(1, i, i^2) + lens forcing
     N = 0 mod 4; v518: psi(A_fix) = 64 + the Q_1 = Q_3 ledger.
  P2 the deformation space is built: dims 18 / 4 / 14 printed;
     every gauge direction verified trivial by FINITE substitution
     and contained in every constraint kernel.
  P3-P6 constraint Jacobians exact, per-constraint ranks printed
     (expected C1 = 9, C2 = 8, C3 = 2, C4 = 2 with the exact
     dependency Phi_P = 3 Phi_T5 + (9/4) Phi_T3 on the deformation
     image; note the executed triple satisfies the same relation:
     72 = 3*0 + (9/4)*32); joint rank 13, joint kernel 5, gauge
     inside the kernel, moduli kernel = 1.
  P7 verdict gate: joint moduli kernel 1 => RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(1);
     the surviving direction identified EXACTLY as the uniform
     weight shift dv = (1, 1, 1, 1): dA = sum_m Q_m =
     36 (1, 2, 1, 0, 0) = the UNTWISTED Okubo square Q^{(0)} -- the
     direction every executed certificate functional annihilates BY
     CONSTRUCTION (v508 S3.4: Phi_P(Q^{(0)}) = 0, T5 = T3 = 0);
     second-order check: the direction is EXACTLY flat (all
     constraint outputs constant to all orders along it, finite
     rational-epsilon substitution).
  P8 negative controls: a clock-violating deformation (dz_0 only)
     must show a nonzero C1 residual (CAUGHT); the centre
     TRANSLATION mode dz_p = (-i)^p must be caught by C1 while
     invisible to EVERY C2 period row (the v515 "forced twice over"
     structure made visible); every gauge direction must lie in
     every per-constraint kernel (sanity).
  P9 ablation ledger (leave-one-out moduli kernels): expected
     (full, -C1, -C2, -C3, -C4, -C1&C2) = (1, 3, 1, 2, 3, 10):
     C1 / C3 / C4 load-bearing; C2 redundant ON THE TANGENT given
     C1 + C3 (the executed double-forcing of the flux vector,
     v515 S4.4 "forced uniform twice over").
  Plus 2 must-fail mutants: MUT1 corrupted AB weight (sector-2
     denominator 4 -> 2) must break the anchor + certificate; MUT2
     clock-phase mutant covariance (phase 1 instead of i) must be
     rejected by the DECLARED point already at zeroth order.

VERDICT ENUM: UNIQUE_ON_SECTOR / RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(dim) /
SECTOR_TOO_THIN (fewer than 3 independent constraints transcribe).
EXPECTED VERDICT (pre-registered): RESIDUAL_FREEDOM(1), the one flat
direction = the untwisted (bulk) admixture; equivalently: the
TWISTED-relative measure data (all sector-weight directions
transverse to the bulk slot, the charge vector, the centre orbit,
the residue normalisation) are UNIQUE on the sector, and the single
unfixed coordinate is exactly the sector-0 slot that the v505/v508
certificates annihilate by construction.

r"""woit_battery_mmst_probe -- SEAM.OSSKELETON.CROSSROUTE.01 (strategy S6):
the executed WOIT.OS.TWISTOR.01 kill-test battery transcribed onto the
MMST-route collar object, so BOTH routes of SEAM.EQUIV.01 share one
executable OS skeleton.

EXPLORATION ONLY (2026-08-27). experiments/ level: NO promotion, NO
ledger row, NO marker moved, NO gate closed or narrowed.

WHY THIS ROUND EXISTS. SEAM.EQUIV.01 has two routes to the same seam
object: the twistor/OS route (Woit bridge, executed as the WOIT
battery v519 alpha / v522 beta1 / v524 beta2 / v565 beta3 / v608
gamma, all on the 16-Majorana chiral NS seam circle) and the MMST
route (the gapped p+ip collar of v367/v368 whose 16-Majorana chiral
edge carries c_- = 8, det K 4 -> 1).  The battery has NEVER been run
on the MMST-side object. This round extracts, per executed kill
test, the INVARIANT it checks, and measures the same invariant on a
collar object built from the v367/v368 lattice model itself -- one
engine, two kernels, a printed SKELETON TABLE, and a preregistered
FIRST_DIVERGENCE adjudication.

THE TWO OBJECTS (one shared OS engine: Pfaffian-Wick quasi-free
state, v519 theta_mono reversal convention with NS spin signs and
twist eta, v522/v524 signed-permutation towers; numpy float64,
structural-zero ceiling ZTOL = 1e-9):
  TWISTOR object: N = 16 Majorana NS seam circle, chiral vacuum
    kernel C(d) = (2/16)/sin(pi d/16) for odd d, 0 for even d
    (antiperiodic), two-point function delta + iC; bond-cut OS
    reflection axis k = 15, mu4 clock = NS quarter shift alpha_4.
  MMST object: the v367 p+ip BdG model at M = 1 (band gap 2, Chern
    |C| = 1) on a 16 x 40 cylinder, x-ANTIPERIODIC (NS momenta
    k = (2n+1)pi/16 -- the same NS structure as the seam), y open;
    exact quasi-free ground state (filled negative BdG modes per
    momentum block); restrict to ONE boundary row and ONE Majorana
    direction per site, w = (cos phi*, sin phi*), phi* frozen by the
    deterministic recipe argmax_phi ||K_phi||_F^2 over a 2048-point
    grid on [0, pi) (the edge mode carries the long-range
    correlations; the gapped combination does not); kernel
    K(d) := the resulting 16 x 16 real antisymmetric edge covariance
    (two-point function delta + iK). The restriction is MIXED
    (bulk-boundary entanglement, |singvals| < 1) -- a KNOWN
    STRUCTURAL difference of a boundary restriction vs an intrinsic
    circle vacuum, typed and disclosed here, NOT a divergence datum;
    every OS-skeleton invariant below is well-defined for a mixed
    quasi-free state.

THE TRANSCRIPTION (invariant per kill test, with its v-module
anchor):
  KT-alpha  (v519): anti-linear Theta from the bond-cut seam
    reflection with FORCED twist (eta = 1 breaks Gram Hermiticity,
    eta = +-i Hermitian, exactly ONE sign PD -- the chirality/eta
    pairing), Theta^2 = +1, clock-tower inversion R S4 R^-1 = S4^-1
    + state clock invariance, one-particle bond RP, even deg <= 2
    RP; CONTROL: the site cut (marks-at-sites) with its exact
    checkerboard zero diagonal (C(even) = 0) and inertia (3,3,1).
  KT-beta1 (v522): the gaugeable part of the Z8 clock tower is
    exactly its 2-torsion {1, (-1)^F} (Hermiticity census of the
    tower insertions T_k: even basis k = 0 only, odd basis k = 0, 4
    only), alpha_1^16 = (-1)^F, the Ramond wrap +1 lift fails state
    invariance, invariant-dimension chain 120 > 64 > 32
    (object-independent bookkeeping), GSO-projected RP (odd sector
    dies exactly, even sector = the gauge-fixed form).
  KT-beta2  (v524): the OS quotient explicit -- full 37 = 1 + 8 + 28
    bond-cut Gram Hermitian, parity-block-diagonal, nondegenerate
    (null dim 0); the clock as transfer step tau_4 on the 11-dim
    Klein-Landau domain: Hermitian, PD via the exact A*A square
    identity, vacuum row fixed, compressed spectrum with the KMS
    expansion lambda_max > 1; CONTROL: the odd step tau_1 with its
    exactly zero one-particle diagonal (checkerboard inside the
    semigroup) and indefiniteness.
  KT-beta3  (v565): the perpendicular torsor mirror theta_perp
    (axis 7) maps the half to itself, descends ANTI-UNITARILY wrt
    the OS Gram for a mu4 sub-torsor twist eta_perp in {+-i},
    Theta_phys^2 = +1, time-reverses the semigroup, torsor closure
    theta_cut o theta_perp = alpha_8 (the upstairs C^4 block
    theorem/dichotomy of v565 is object-independent algebra --
    typed BOOKKEEPING, not re-measured).
  KT-gamma  (v608): the anti-chiral flip is sector-exact (odd
    one-particle Gram flips to ND, even sector inertia invariant --
    on the MMST side the OTHER EDGE of the same collar physically
    realizes the flipped kernel: K_top ~ -K_bottom, measured, an
    MMST-ONLY strengthening with no twistor analogue); the
    compressed clock on the odd domain is multiplicity-free
    (distinct eigenvalues); the two mark-quadrant algebras
    ({8..11}, {12..15}, full 2^4 monomials each) have PD OS Grams,
    alpha_4 transports mark A to mark B, tau_4 is Hermitian with
    n_neg = 0 on the mark algebra, products generate the full
    256-monomial half algebra.

PRE-REGISTERED ADJUDICATION (P1..P8; bars frozen after ONE
structural smoke run at the pre-freeze spec, disclosed below; no
bar moved after the record runs):
  P1 ANCHORS. (a) twistor: the shared numeric engine reproduces
      the module headline numbers -- 1p bond Gram (8,0,0) with min
      eigenvalue 1.888e-3 (rel 2e-3 vs the v519 print), even-29
      (29,0,0) min 1.78e-6, 37-Gram (37,0,0), site cut zero-diag +
      (3,3,1), tau_4 (11,0,0) min 6.6821e-5, compressed clock
      spectrum [0.0194517, 1.64144], tau_1 (10,12,7); (b) collar:
      v367/v368 regressions -- gap(M=1) = 2 > 1, FHS Chern |C| = 1
      at M = 1 and 0 at M = 3, strip min|E| < 0.05 (topo) and
      > 0.3 (trivial), Cartan dets D8 = 4, E8 = 1.
  P2 KT-ALPHA transcription: collar object structurally sound
      (covariance imaginary antisymmetric <= ZTOL, NS translation +
      clock invariance <= ZTOL, bond-axis anti-invariance
      R K R^T = -K <= ZTOL, singvals <= 1); eta census (eta = 1
      defect >= 1e-3, eta = +-i Hermitian <= ZTOL, exactly one PD);
      even-29 RP n_neg = 0 (smoke: (28,0,1) -- PSD with ONE
      marginal direction at the 1e-11 scale); site-cut diagonal
      NONZERO (smoke: 0.1736 -- the checkerboard does NOT
      transcribe) AND the site-cut Gram is PD (7,0,0): the
      site/bond RP dichotomy is ABSENT on the collar -- RP holds on
      BOTH cuts, exactly what v519 R4 predicts for a non-lattice-
      pinned chiral kernel (the seam site-cut failure is a
      PLACEMENT artifact; the collar edge confirms the R4 typing
      from the second route).
  P3 KT-BETA1: tower Hermiticity census on the collar equals the
      twistor pattern (gaugeable = {1, (-1)^F}); parity projection
      kills the odd 1p sector <= ZTOL; Ramond wrap +1 fails state
      invariance (defect >= 1e-6) on both; chain 120 > 64 > 32.
  P4  KT-BETA2: collar 37-Gram Hermitian, parity-block-diagonal,
      n_neg = 0 and rank > 1 (the v524 contract kill branch does
      NOT fire; smoke: (36,0,1) -- one MARGINAL direction at
      9.0e-12, typed float-grade); tau_4 Hermitian with exact A*A
      identity + vacuum row <= ZTOL, compressed spectrum measured
      (smoke: [1.32e-4, 3.297]); tau_1 diagonal NONZERO and the
      tau_1 form PSD (smoke: (28,0,1) -- the odd-step
      chirality/staggering indefiniteness does NOT transcribe, same
      checkerboard mechanism); KMS dichotomy lambda_max > 1 on both
      (smoke: 3.297 vs 1.641).
  P5 KT-BETA3: theta_perp maps the half to itself, descends
      anti-unitarily with eta_perp sub-torsor {+-i} on both objects
      (defect <= ZTOL), Theta_phys^2 = +1, time reversal + torsor
      closure exact (bookkeeping); typed PARTIAL fidelity (the C^4
      upstairs algebra is object-independent).
  P6  KT-GAMMA: mirror-edge kernel anti-aligns (max|K_top + K_bot| /
      max|K_top - K_bot| < 0.1; smoke: 8.2e-16 -- the top edge
      realizes MINUS the bottom kernel EXACTLY, a lattice inversion
      symmetry, stronger than expected); anti-chiral odd 1p Gram ND
      + even-29 inertia invariant on both; odd-domain compressed
      clock eigenvalue gaps > 1e-6 on both; mark Grams PD +
      transport n_neg = 0 + 256-monomial generation on both (smoke:
      the collar transport has 2 marginal directions, (14,0,2)).
  P7 SKELETON TABLE + adjudication: every diagonal/census datum
      decisive (defects <= ZTOL or >= 1e-6, no grey zone);
      FIRST_DIVERGENCE computed from the frozen DD order; the
      diverging set must be EXACTLY the five control-typed rows
      {DD3, DD4, DD8, DD9, DD10}.
  P8 MUTANTS: (a) eta = +1 must break Gram Hermiticity on BOTH
      objects (defect >= 1e-3) -- CAUGHT; (b) the M = 3 TRIVIAL
      collar (Chern 0, no edge branch), same frozen recipe, must
      flip at least one DD outcome vs the M = 1 collar; the FIRST
      flipped invariant is recorded (informative; smoke:
      GAMMA.MARK.INCIDENCE -- the trivial collar's mark-quadrant
      Grams LOSE RANK, (13,0,3)).
EXPECTED VERDICT (frozen after smoke, disclosed):
SKELETON_SHARED(5/5, FIRST_DIVERGENCE=ALPHA.SITECUT.CHECKERBOARD)
-- all five kill-test MAIN invariants transcribe and agree; ALL
five data divergences are control-typed and trace to ONE mechanism:
the exact chiral checkerboard C(even) = 0 of the seam lattice
(site-cut zero diagonal + site-cut RP failure + odd-step zero
diagonal + odd-step indefiniteness) plus its nondegeneracy shadow
(the collar's marginal quotient directions) -- the collar edge
kernel has K(even) != 0 at the 0.17 level, so every
checkerboard-protected structure smooths out, exactly as the v519
R4 continuum control (strictly PD Cauchy-Stieltjes kernel) demands.

SMOKE DISCLOSURE (2026-08-27, one structural smoke run at the
pre-freeze spec before freezing the bars; recording the surprises
is part of the method -- no bar moved after the record runs):
 (i) the WOIT anchors reproduced to float grade on the first run
       (1p 1.887611e-3, even29 1.7801e-6, clock [0.0194517,
       1.64144], tau_1 (10,12,7)) -- engine validated;
 (ii) the site-cut and tau_1 divergences fired as predicted, but
       with a surprise SIGN: the collar site cut is PD (7,0,0) and
       the collar tau_1 is PSD -- RP is STRONGER on the collar (no
       placement selection), so the dichotomous rows DD4/DD10 were
       added to the control list before freezing;
 (iii) the initial spec froze DD "quotient nondegenerate" and
       "mark transport PD" as MAIN rows; the smoke showed the
       collar carries MARGINAL directions at the 1e-11 scale
       (even29 (28,0,1), G37 (36,0,1), mark transport (14,0,2)) --
       float64 cannot separate these from exact zeros, and the v524
       contract kill branch verbatim demands only "indefinite or
       rank <= 1"; the MAIN rows were re-typed to the contract-
       grade invariants (DD7, DD15) and the nondegeneracy datum
       kept as the control row DD8, BEFORE the record runs;
 (iv) under the initial DD list the M = 3 mutant's DD vector
       coincided with the M = 1 vector (both failed the same
       strict-nondegeneracy rows); under the contract-grade typing
       the mutant is caught at GAMMA.MARK.INCIDENCE (mark Grams
       lose rank, (13,0,3) vs (16,0,0));
 (v) the frozen direction recipe lands at phi* = 0 exactly (the
       gamma^1 = c + c^dagger direction) on both rows and both M
       values; the mirror-edge kernel identity K_top = -K_bot holds
       at machine precision (8e-16).
